And David Ashley, 56, of Charnwood Street, Normanton, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine after he was seen leaving the Vulcan Arms, also in Normanton, and was found to have 16 wraps on him.
Jonathan Straw, mitigating, said: “He was only involved for one day, it was a small amount of drugs and some of that would have been for his own use.
“It’s a life that has been chaotic for the past two decades.”
He was jailed for 16 months, suspended for two years.
