It would mean so much if Dr. Stanley would preach a current sermon. Yes, he would be preaching to an empty sanctuary but it would be so meaningful to hear him speak on our current situation.
- Thank you, Dr. Stanley for this sermon & sharing God’s Word!. With all the turmoil in our world today, we need God more than ever to open our eyes & heart to see Him first in all we think & do. God Bless You & I will thank God for you & my life. Amen!
- Ephesians chapter 5:18~20 and be not drunk with wine wherein excess; but be filled with the spirit; speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ
- Giving God thanks to God for those who carry out His mandate: The Great Commission. May the Comforter continue to carry you, Dr. Stanley. The enemy is on the loose and his cohorts are ready to meet. You drink your cup well sir. My prayers are with you as you continue your pilgrimage. Love and blessings as you stand tall.
at some point, we encounter these distractions and eventually miss His directions but thanks for your message Dr. Stanley, it reminds us to go back and put importance on taking time to meditate and listen to God’s word – to help us guide and navigate through life’s journey
So it is no secret that I have been really upset about the mindset of people these days and of the current situation we are in as a Nation. So I open my Bible randomly this morning and looked down to find this. “Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every authority instituted among men: whether to king, as the supreme authority, or to governors
who are sent by Him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. For it is God’s will that doing good you should silence ignorant talk of foolish men. Live as free men, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as servants of God. Show proper respect to everyone: Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God, honor the King.” 1 Peter 2:13-17.” The Lord moves in mysterious ways is an understatement. Have a blessed Sunday.
