Remember how much you hated those elementary math class? You probably don’t know how to do the addition, subtraction, and division in math, but you do know how to get angry. The same is true for nurses. Nurses are also trained to be angry, but they are trained to be calm under pressure. Keep your cool and take it easy in stressful situations, even when you’re on the job. Don’t give in, and don’t give in too often to anyone. Just like working in a restaurant, you have to keep your cool at work, in public, and especially when you’re in front of patients. You’ll find it is easier said than done.
