A few centuries ago, when golf became popular, entrepreneurs and a few middle-class people came up with the idea of going to the outskirts of the city to build a dedicated golf venue just for them and for others people “same level”. Elsewhere, people continue to play golf as before. However, the club’s version of golf, with its expensive membership fees, clear rules, equipment and standard golf courses, gradually overwhelmed.
