The world’s first animated film
“Fantasmagorie” was the world’s first animated film created by a French painter named Emile Cohl in 1908.
Produced more than 100 years ago, this film has no sound and is said to be a silent film genre. With white brushstrokes on a black classroom board, this movie is about cartoon character adventures called “stick figures”. All are represented by simple dots and dashes.
