The birth of Dungeons & Dragon is considered to be the beginning of today’s role-playing games (RPG) and the RPG game industry. Before the advent of RPGs, before computer games appeared, before Trading Card games, there was a game genre called Wargame. Dungeons & Dragon was developed from the traditional Wargame but instead, the game allows players to create their own character instead of an army.
