They are native to the Northumberland region, on the border between Scotland and England, and were bred from several British penguin breeds. The Border Collie was originally known as the Scottish Shepherd Dog (“Scotch Sheep Dog”). Due to its agile intelligence, this breed was used by the British with the main purpose of protecting their herds. In Wales there are 11 million sheep raised on vast pastures, four times the number of people living here. With such a large number of sheep, the people here had to rely on a delicate Border Collies.
The Collie dogs are considered the biggest property of the shepherds here. The best Collies were bred together to select the elite genetic resources, after many generations of random breeding, a new Collie breed was born, due to its origins in the transgender region, so this breed was named. Border Collie (or Border Collie), to distinguish it from the Ancient Collie (ie Collie), Bearded Collie as well as other Collie breeds. This breed was raised and thrived in England in 1860, after which they were exported to the United States and became the most popular sheep hunting dogs.
