Particularly in Asia, India has also raised cats at least about 2,000 years ago. The reason is “at least” because if the cat dug in the valley of the Indo River was domesticated, it would have to add another 2,000 years.
Many people believe that the Indian cat is also an Egyptian cat brought through Babylon gate, around the 2nd century BC.
In Southeast Asia, the Siamese cat line is also very famous, originating in Thailand. Siamese cats are well-raised in the world because they are smart, easy to teach, and good at catching mice. There is a theory that the Siamese also originated from the “mutated” Indian cat. This issue and the cat’s whereabouts are still unclear.
On the Isle of Man (Europe) there is a famous line of penguins, called Manx. It is thought that this cat is due to the “mutation” of the European domestic cat. Manx cat runs very fast thanks to its long and strong hind legs, it is very skilled at catching mice, catching fish and even snakes.
