John Roberts is the only actor in the main cast not to use his usual voice to bring his character to life. Instead, the East Coast groan he used on Linda was actually an imitation of his own mother. Before Bob’s Burgers, Roberts filmed a number of comical sketches in which he parodies the overly dramatic mother, wig and all. After uploading the video to YouTube, his sketches of My My being Gay and and the Christmas Tree soon went viral. These hits caught the attention of Bouchard, who asked Roberts to lend his mother’s voice to Linda.
Like The Simpsons ‘Couch Gag, Bob Bob Burgers’ opening credits have a unique factor every week. Although the open credits always have Belchers standing in front of their restaurant, the next building sees a new tenant with each new episode (but only for the prologue, as the building remains vacant in the episode. reality). Some of the businesses that have been featured in the opening credits include, Magn Magn GI, Colonel, Talk to Hand, Gloves Store, Towels and Quilty As Billed, Quilt Store.
Starting in season two, a second element of change has been added to the opening credits: the name of the terminator on the pull-up truck. Well, all those businesses have pest-related puns for the name.
